Our Services
Perhaps you don’t know where to start on a project, or are nearing the end and experiencing decision fatigue. Or, you simply have a few areas in your home that could be improved upon. A design consultation is a great option for anyone who is not looking for a full service interior designer, but instead would like an experienced, confident hand to help guide them through any design dilemmas.
Whether it’s selecting paint colours, choosing furniture, improving layout, hanging artwork or making final styling decisions, I can offer practical advice tailored to your space, style and budget. Afterwards, you will receive a document summarising everything that we discuss—your design solutions, product suggestions, and next steps— so that you can move forward with purpose and ease.
An hour consultation is great for anyone with a few smaller issues that need improvement and is available in person or virtually. A half day consultation is ideal for anyone looking to dig a little deeper, and is conducted on site.

Case Study
This client in Berkshire had a formal living room that remained empty and unused for a couple of years after they moved into their house. It had beautiful original details, but felt too formal for the young family’s lifestyle. The room was painted a dated shade of magnolia and the curtains were a heavy yellow damask with a fussy, fringe laden pelmet.
They opted for a half day consultation, and by the end of our session we had a plan. They did not have the budget for new curtains and it felt wasteful to get rid of something so well made, but the style was all wrong. I suggested that they remove the pelmet and alter the curtains so that they could be hung on a more casual wooden rod.
Then, we decided to paint the walls in a plaster pink colour which complemented the yellow curtains and made the north facing room feel cosier. A Scandinavian flat weave rug was chosen to bring in some modernity and clean lines.
The ottoman was ordered off the shelf but we provided our own fabric—a Sanderson print that helped to tie everything together. A sweet coral chair that they already had was moved into the corner, and a new sofa was ordered in a pale green linen.
With the remaining time in our session, we were able to select paint colours for their snug (Etruscan Brown from Edward Bulmer) and for their son’s bedroom (The Good China from COAT Paints).
When we began the process they did not feel confident making design decisions. However, once the room was nearly complete they found and fell in love with the oil painting that hangs in the corner which is a perfect fit. The room is now a favourite place for them to be.
