Hannah French is a freelance interior stylist and design consultant based in Somerset. Hannah’s expertise is rooted in her extensive industry experience. She previously worked for John Derian in New York as the Head of Retail Operations and for Rita Konig in London on the design team.

With experience on install days, photoshoots and in ever changing retail spaces, Hannah is quick on her feet. Her styling work is characterised by careful planning, as well as an ability to improvise on the day. She is able to curate her extensive prop collection to match the style of the client, and enjoys the collaborative process with the photographer or interior designer.

As a design consultant, Hannah is able to provide a cohesive response to the client brief. She believes in the importance of spaces that reflect and adapt to the way that people live. Hannah has worked on a number of high end residential schemes in New York, Antigua and throughout the UK, however it is her own experience with a limited budget that has honed her ability to pinpoint the priorities in a space and the most effective solutions. She believes the most interesting spaces are born out of limitations, and is at her best when working with an inherited sideboard, a tired sofa, or flea market finds.
